Acceptable Use Policy

The conduct rules for every user of Worldwatch: honest trading, authenticity, lawful payments, how the dealer network may be used, and what happens when the rules are broken.

This policy forms part of the User Terms. It sets the conduct rules for every user of Worldwatch, the platform, the dashboard, the marketplace, connected channels, and the dealer community. Breach of this policy can lead to content removal, feature restriction, suspension, or termination, always with a statement of reasons and the redress routes described in our Complaints & Mediation page.

1.Honest trading

  • List only items you are entitled to sell and can actually deliver.
  • Describe items accurately: condition, authenticity, provenance, modifications, and completeness (box, papers, service history) must be stated truthfully. See Prohibited Items for what may not be listed at all.
  • Do not manipulate the marketplace: no shill bidding or offers, no fake demand signals, no coordinated price manipulation, no misleading reference or condition data intended to game search.

2.Authenticity

  • Counterfeit and replica goods are prohibited across every surface and channel, without exception.
  • Composite watches ("franken-watches"), aftermarket or non-original parts, refinished dials, and altered cases must be disclosed prominently in the listing. Undisclosed, they are treated as misleading listings.
  • Cooperate with authenticity reviews when we request documentation for a listed item.

3.Lawful payments

  • You are responsible for complying with the payment laws that apply to you and your transactions, including any local limits on cash payments.
  • Do not use the platform to arrange, record, or settle unlawful payments.
  • Use payment flows honestly: do not misrepresent the payer, payee, or nature of a transaction.

4.The dealer network

  • Contact details, pricing, and inventory information of other dealers are available to you for trading. Do not harvest them: no scraping, bulk export, or systematic collection of other dealers' data.
  • Do not use the network to poach staff or systematically divert another dealer's counterparties off-platform.
  • Pricing and offer information shared in the course of a negotiation is confidential to that negotiation.

5.Platform integrity

  • No attempts to probe, disrupt, or circumvent platform security, see our Security Policy for how to report vulnerabilities responsibly instead.
  • No automated access other than through our documented APIs; no circumvention of rate limits or access controls.
  • Keep account credentials personal; each user of your organization gets their own account.
  • Do not submit manifestly unfounded reports or complaints repeatedly; Art. 23 DSA obliges us to act against misuse.

6.Content standards

  • No unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content in listings, profiles, messages, or community surfaces.
  • Respect intellectual property: brand names and imagery may be used only to accurately identify the item being sold.

7.Enforcement

We act on breaches proportionately: from listing correction requests to removal, restriction, suspension, or termination. Our enforcement decisions follow the notice-and-action process described in Notice & Action and can always be contested.
