Built for ourselves, given to the trade
A dealership runs on information nobody publishes: when the fairs are, what a channel actually costs, which references are being faked this season. These are the parts of that we can publish, and they are open to anyone in the trade whether or not they use Worldwatch.

What is in the library
Browse it, download it, embed it. Nothing here sits behind an account.
- A shared trade calendar
- Fairs, auctions, brand launches and member events in one subscribable feed, so the dates live in the calendar you already keep rather than in a browser tab.
- The marketplace-fee index
- What each selling channel actually deducts, side by side, with the source of every figure stated. The table is embeddable on your own site.
- An early-warning list
- Known fakes, franken pieces and red-flag references submitted by verified dealers and anonymised before publication. The list to check before wiring money.
- A dealer-voted award
- Nominated and voted by verified dealers, with no sponsor and no celebrity panel. Categories for the small shop, the vintage source, the newcomer and the deal of the year.
- A reading list
- Long-form writing about the trade, ours and other people’s, collected rather than churned out.
- Integration partner marks
- A mark for the software the trade builds on, so a dealer can tell what genuinely works with what before they buy it.
What the channels actually cost
The one number every dealer is quoted differently. These are the rates Worldwatch can state, and whose each of them is.
- The Worldwatch marketplace: 0%
- No commission, no listing fee and no percentage of the settlement on a sale agreed on the Worldwatch marketplace. The flat subscription is what the platform is paid.
- Wristler: 2.25%
- Wristler’s own commission, netted by them when they settle with you. Worldwatch adds nothing on top of it.
- Bezel: 6.5% to 12%
- Bezel’s own commission, depending on tier, netted by them on settlement. Worldwatch adds nothing on top of it.
- eBay: eBay’s selling fees
- Charged and deducted by eBay under their own schedule, which varies by category and by account. Worldwatch adds nothing on top and does not restate a rate that is not ours to state.
- What the index will not do
- It does not rate a channel, rank one, or estimate a number a platform has not published. A cell with no stated rate stays empty.
Contributing to it
Verify once
Submissions to the early-warning list and votes in the awards come from verified dealers, which is the whole of what makes either of them worth reading.
Send what you found
A reference, photographs, and what gave it away. Sellers and locations are removed before anything is published.
It gets checked
A submission is reviewed before it joins the list. A list anyone can add to unchecked is a rumour mill.
Everyone gets it back
Published openly, with no account and no paywall, including to dealers who will never use Worldwatch.
