List watches on Shopify from one inventory
Your Shopify store is your storefront. Worldwatch is where the watch, its cost and its paperwork live. Connect the two and the storefront stops being a second inventory to maintain.

What syncs
- Products out
- Worldwatch creates and updates products in your store over the Admin GraphQL API, including the collection and delivery profile you choose per listing.
- Inventory
- Stock stays in step, so a watch sold through Worldwatch or on another channel stops being buyable on your store.
- Orders in
- Shopify orders arrive as sell orders in Worldwatch. Shopify handles payment, so Worldwatch shows that track as managed by the store.
- Only what it needs
- The connection asks for six permissions: read and write on products, orders and inventory. No customer or payment data is read.
Connecting it
Create an app in your Shopify admin
In Settings, then Apps and sales channels, create an app for Worldwatch. It stays private to your store.
Grant the six scopes
read_products, write_products, read_orders, write_orders, read_inventory and write_inventory. Nothing beyond those is requested.
Set the redirect URL
Point the app at https://app.worldwatch.so/dashboard/settings/channels/callback/shopify so Shopify can hand the authorisation back.
Paste the client ID and secret
Enter your shop domain and the app credentials in Worldwatch, and approve the connection. It takes about ten minutes and you do it once.
Worth knowing
- Admin API tokens
- An existing custom app's Admin API access token also works. Shopify stopped allowing new custom apps to be created that way on 1 January 2026, so this route only applies if your store already has one.
- A written guide
- The step-by-step walkthrough, with a screenshot for each Shopify screen, is available inside the product and as a PDF.
- Disconnecting
- You choose whether your Shopify products are set to draft, which you can republish later, or deleted outright.
Common questions
Put your stock to work
Import what you already hold, connect a channel, and see what moves. The free plan needs no card, and selling on the Worldwatch marketplace costs no commission.
