The sale, the money and the parcel are separate questions
One order carries all three, because they move at different speeds and a single status word hides which of them you are actually waiting on.

What an order holds
- Sale, payment and fulfilment, under one badge
- Negotiating, pending, active, shipped, delivered, completed or cancelled on the surface, derived from the separate sale, payment and fulfilment states underneath it.
- Both directions
- What you sold and what you bought, in the same shape. A purchase is an order too, and it is where the acquisition cost on the watch comes from.
- Documents
- Sales and purchase invoices, credit notes, pro formas and receipts, alongside the insurance certificate where the shipment carries one.
- An invoice you can generate
- Produced as a PDF from the order itself and sent from there.
- Tracking
- A tracking number and a carrier from a list of 24, with a link the other party can follow, plus a shipping label uploaded by whichever side is responsible for it.
- Where the order came from
- A direct purchase, a negotiation with its offer history, an auction or a proposal. An order raised on a connected channel carries that channel’s own reference back with it.
